Visit Fotografiska, the contemporary museum of photography, art, and culture. It is housed in a historic customs house, opened in 2010, and has expanded to Berlin, Shanghai, and Tallinn. Across several floors, it showcases the work of both renowned and emerging artists, exploring photography and visual art in all its forms, from classic prints to digital media and installations. The museum features exhibitions that change almost every month and an events program. Past exhibitions have included artists like Annie Leibovitz, Robert Mapplethorpe, David LaChapelle, Cindy Sherman, Shirin Neshat, Anton Corbijn, Zanele Muholi, Isaac Julien, Refik Anadol, Anders Petersen, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. On the top floor, there is a bistro and restaurant offering seasonal dishes, where the menus change regularly. In summer, enjoy refreshments on the Fotografiska Veranda. On the ground floor, you can shop from the museum store that offers objects inspired by current and past exhibitions.
