Palazzo Strozzi is een mijlpaal op de Italiaanse scène - een platform waar kunst wordt geproduceerd en genoten door middel van een rijk programma aan tentoonstellingen en culturele activiteiten. Palazzo Strozzi is gevestigd op een historische binnenplaats uit de Renaissance in Florence en biedt concerten, optredens en installaties van hedendaagse kunstenaars. De Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi werd opgericht in 2006 en produceerde en organiseerde meer dan 50 tentoonstellingen variërend van oude tot moderne en hedendaagse kunst, waaronder kunstenaars als Ai Weiwei, Carsten Höller en Marina Abramović, of veelgeprezen tentoonstellingen zoals Pontormo en Rosso Fiorentino, of Verrocchio, de meester van Leonardo.
